We are jsut about done now with only the curtains to come on Wednesday and as you know we are both very pleased with the results.
Details of the Recommendation: “I’ve always been reluctant to do business with friends or family as it often leads to problems – you don’t raise an issue in case you ruin the friendship or you get the job done the way you want but lose the relationship. However we needed some home renovation work and had seen the results of not having a designer involved and worse, what designers had forced upon their clients. With a limited budget and knowing of others in the same situation being taken for a ride, we had to have someone we trusted. Having known Helen and her husband for some time, we approached her. How glad we are that we did so!
Helen proved to be an excellent designer, giving us some great ideas. She was able to tell us from a professional point of view what went with what and what didn’t but unlike other designers, she accepted we were the customer so she made recommendations not demands! She created detailed designs and plans, arranged excellent pricing through her network of suppliers, and found relaible and competent tradespeople for us. She kept an eye on things from go to whoa and if there were any issues, she was able to explain what they were, what the options were, and still keep within budget. The end result is a renovation we are completely happy with. It looks exactly like the computer generated drawings Helen provided. With her input, we made savings on some things that we could put into additional items we thought would be beyond our budget. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough and we are still friends! If you are looking for a designer, go no further.”

Even after the work had commenced you called over numerous times to ensure that all was progressing well, even shopping for the odd fitting that was needed.
